The Intensive Studies Seminar is an organization lead by five professional artists who host an annual painting seminar in Taos, New Mexico. The members of ISS wanted to increase enrollment in their annual seminar and have a central source of information to which they could direct students.

    Project Details

I designed this site to reflect a sense of professionalism with the feel of New Mexico, where the seminar is held. A registration form was included to accept payment online, which was a primary concern. The site was hand crafted in XHTML and CSS with the inclusion of Javascript for enhanced funtionality.

The Software Services branch of Barcoding Inc. developed a software application that allows customers to view account information and track their devices in real-time. They wanted the app to match their corporate brand, be intuitive, and easy to navigate.

    Project Details

My main goal with this design was to maintain consistency between the application and Barcoding's other marketing efforts. The design features a prominently displayed navigation panel that is collapsible to maximize screen real estate if needed. Most elements are large and easy to read for ease of use. I designed everything in Photoshop and handed it off to a Silverlight development team.

    Client Overview

WirelessBuilders was the former Professional Services branch of Barcoding Inc. Their website was outdated and heavily reliant on Flash, which negatively affected their search engine optimization. I was asked to redesign the site from the ground up. Mid-way through the project Barcoding brought it's Professional Services in-house and WirelessBuilders was all but scrapped, but significant progress had been made on the new site.

    Project Details

The WirelessBuilders team opted for a darker design, which allowed me to make use of bright accent colors. The goal was to appeal to IT support staff and warehouse executives. The site was hand coded in XHTML & CSS, until production was halted.

    Client Overview

CaptureSoft is a division of Barcoding Inc. that creates off-the-shelf software for mobile data collection. They required an eNewsletter template that they could use to send monthly updates to existing and potential customers that would work in most email readers.

    Project Details

The tricky part of this project (as with all eNewsletters) was making sure the newsletter displayed properly in most email readers, while keeping the file size low. The design only uses a few images to keep weight down and is marked up with “old skool” tables to increase compatibility. Inline CSS was used to style text.

    Client Overview

The Barcoding Marketplace is the online ecommerce store of Barcoding Inc. While still currently in production, the goal is to provide customers a store from which they may purchase simple orders and receive quotes for more complex solutions.

    Project Details

This design remains similar to Barcoding's other websites for consistency. Barcoding Inc. is using an ecommerce backend provided by a third party to ease the process. From an integration standpoint it is a challenge, however, since the design must be “shoehorned” into an existing template. This project required a good amount of XHTML and CSS manipulation to achieve the desired results.

The huge amount of documents that Barcoding Inc. produces requires a document template that is easy to manipulate for a variety of uses. My goal was to keep it clean and professional while staying flexible enough to quickly and easily populate information. The template was created in InDesign with help from Photoshop and Illustrator.

ISS now focuses most of it's marketing efforts through the web. However, many of it's customers are not web savy and prefer to consume information and register via printed media, so a brochure template was needed.

    Project Details

The ISS brochure needed to be easy to digest and match the branding of the website. Potential students are given the highlights of the program and a registration form. These documents helped ISS reach more of their target audience and sell out their 2010 seminar.

    Project Details

CaptureSoft needed a design that could easily be used for multiple products as they were developed, but fit a common theme. We went with a glossy “orb” design that was easily customizable. A range of hues could be used to differentiate each icon, while a common intensity would bind them all together. Application icons were created as well to match the theme.
